We are currently developing an off-the-shelf NZEM forecasting product. Investors and participants in the NZEM have very few choices when it comes to market outlooks and forecasts. Typically, economic forecasting approaches are used that lack detail and fail to capture key drivers such as hydrological variation and reserve constraints on inter-island transfers.  Our point of difference is a bottom-up market model that captures a balance of system detail and practical long-term assumptions so as to achieve a robust market outlook.
